Tutorial 2: Introduction to IoT, Cloud and Big Data towards Industry 4.0 – Intellimech – www.intellimech.it – Tuesday June 12, 14:00 – 16:00 – Room 2 Pignolo

In this tutorial we are going to explain the techologies at basis of IoT, Cloud and Big Data. In the first part of the tutotial, an overview on IoT protocols will be provided (MQTT, XMPP, COAP ,…) showing pros and cons of them and how they can be used. In the second part, a benchmark of Cloud solution will be described illustrating the main services available and ready to use. Finally, an overview of databases will be presented in order to explain the concept of Big Data. In this phase, we will show the solution developed and proposed by Intellimech.

Tutorial 3: The sedApta Suite for Supply Chain Efficiency and Production Flexibility: a real case of a collaborative platform – www.sedapta.com – Tuesday June 12, 16:30 – 18:30 – Room 2 Pignolo
In this tutorial we are going to present a real case of collaborative platform implemented at a shop floor level able to support and orchestrate the Manufacturing processes through the cooperative management of scheduling process for production, quality and maintenance ensuring broad visibility for all functions and the capacity to act on every level, improving production efficiency and information flow between different departments and the overall performance of users in order to assess the execution and drive continuous manufacturing process improvement.
